The 'ncftp' program

Thwe 'ncftp' program is just a version of ftp with a few enhancements. With no other arguments accept the site name, (i.e. ncftp skynet.ul..ie) the program will assume that an anonymous login is required, which saves time and hassle when ftping to public sites. If the '-u' argument is used, (i.e. ncftp -u userftp.skynet.ie), you will be prompted to input your username and password, which you will need to upload and download files from your own account on the remote machine.

Usage:
'ncftp a.site.name'(anonymous ftp) or 'ncftp -u a.site.name'(regular ftp)
